  • Integral Approach

I work with clients who seek to transform the aspects of their lives that may not be working, or that may be holding them back from living balanced, fulfilling lives. Transformational Coaching in this practice is : Psychological - It explores the client's thoughts, behaviors, beliefs, values, expectations, assumptions, and psychological patterns that guide how they show up in life and the workplace Humanistic - It builds on the assumption that clients are whole, unbroken, capable, and that they have the inner resources they need to create meaningful change Integrative - Drawn from a wide range of schools of thought, it enables coaches to create unique client plans tailored for each individual Holistic - Coaches give attention to all aspects of a client's experience - the cognitive, affective, somatic, relational, and behavioral dimensions Culturally Humble - Your coach is committed to curiosity, lifelong learning and critical self-reflection with respect to race, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, spirituality and how these impact the power dynamics of the provider-client dynamic. Clients who work with me can expect to deepen their self-awareness, improve their relationships, shift their self-limiting thoughts and behaviors, and begin living a more balanced and emotionally fulfilling life.

About

Life is difficult. My aim is for my coaching practice to be a place where my clients can show up authentically, as themselves, and find a warm and compassionate container no matter what they may be holding. I am a trauma-informed, integrative coach and consultant. I provide personal growth and transformational services using a person-centered, culturally humble, strength-based approach, and believe that all of my clients are have the innate capacity for self healing. Each of us has within us the opportunity to mend our internal wounds and traumas, and as your coach I am here to help facilitate, hold space for, and actively support that process. Coaching is different than therapy. My aim is not to treat a disorder. My aim is to transform awareness and co-facilitate change. I received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy in 2015, where I served as a Student Ambassador. Since that time I have gathered extensive counseling experience as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Expressive Arts Therapist in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings serving adults, adolescents, elders, families, and groups. I have training in the use of arts for mindfulness, nature-based expressive arts, and arts-based narrative therapy. In 2017 I was featured as a presenter at the 37th Illinois Art Therapy Association Annual Conference on behalf of California Institute of Integral Studies.
