I've treated 1000's of patients for sleep problems and although I can never guarantee results, I can tell you that I know a thing or two about communicating with people. I have experienced bedside manner that can only come with 20 years of clinical patient care dealing with fearful, angry, depressed and sleep deprived patients and clinical experience of being a doctor in the field as well as a fanatical sleep enthusiast I'd love to help you get better sleep. Together, we first establish your goals so that they are clear, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-based. Then we try to determine where the problem lies and what internal resources you already have to solve it, or what additional resources and skills you require. We will also figure out where and what internal constraints or negative beliefs you may have and work towards getting rid of them. And in parallel, we “install updates” on your mind and body, as needed, i.e. energy levels, thoughts, relationships, how you work and relax, your sleep hygiene, your balance between eustress & destress, etc.
